Linda Isaacson, DVM

Dr. Linda Isaacson is the proud owner of Prospect Heights Animal Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2003. After veterinary school, she completed an intensive one year small animal internship at Manhattan Vet Group (currently called Fifth Ave Vet Specialists in Manhattan).

Dr. Isaacson has practiced at several hospitals in the New York area, most recently serving for five years as the Medical Director at Manhattan Vet Group. She lives in Brooklyn and opened the practice to be close to home.

   

Amy Kurowski, DVM

Dr. Amy Kurowski is pleased to join the staff at Prospect Heights Animal Hospital.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Vermont in 1998 and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2002.  After completing a comprehensive internship at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan in 2003,  Dr. Kurowski practiced small animal, avian and exotics medicine at St Marks Veterinary Hospital in the East Village for over 7 yrs. Dr. Kurowski enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in surgery, geriatric patients, and reptile medicine.  She currently lives in Brooklyn with her two cats.

   

Christine Moore, DVM

Dr. Christine Moore graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from State University of New York at New Paltz and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University after completing a clinical year at Lousiana State University. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgerical internship at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan in 2007. After her internship, she practiced for over three years at the Bergh Memorial ASPCA in Manhattan and currently lives in Brooklyn with her pitbull mix "Milo".

   

Vicky Karachun, DVM

Dr. Vicky Karachun recieved her Bachelors of Science in Biology after graduating from Pace University in 2008. She recieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St.George's University in 2012 after completing her clinical rotations at Louisiana State University. Since graduating, she has practiced in Grenada, West Indies, at a local shelter and clinic. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her cat Nala.
